Biography:
Ms. Bansal grew up in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. As an undergraduate student, she successfully
defended her thesis regarding the significance of genes that encode proteins in
muscle cells that prevent the formation of bullous pemphigoid.
Following graduation, she relocated to Michigan to begin
her legal career. As a student at WMU Cooley Law School, she served as the
President of the Canadian Law Society, and as the Publicity Editor of Thomas M.
Cooley Law Review. She was the recipient
of the prestigious Thomas M. Cooley Leadership Achievement Award for her roles
as a school ambassador, a mentor to incoming students, and for her commitment
to community service.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Bansal specialized in
medical malpractice defense litigation, and in health insurance law.
